Please take a moment to meet our staff and learn a little about us!

Dr. Sue James

Dr. James graduated from the CU school of dentistry in 1987. After associated with a group practice for 5 years, she started private practice in 1992. She is an active member of the ADA (American Dental Association), MDDS (Metro Denver Dental Society, AGD (Academy of General Dentistry), and is a delegate for the CDA (Colorado Dental Association).

Dr. James has two sons, Kyle and Connor and she enjoys reading and traveling.

Lori

Lori graduated from dental assisting school in 1982 and has been working as a dental assistant for 26 years. She has been working with Dr. James since 2004.

Lori was born and raised in a small town in Nebraska. She lived in Nebraska for 25 years, and to this day is a die hard Cornhusker (sorry Colorado Buffs). Lori then moved to San Diego California where she had her two wonderful boys, Sean and Josh, who are now 14 and 11 years old. After living in San Diego for 16 years, Lori missed her family very much and moved to Colorado. Lori, her boys, and her husband Mike love living in Colorado, are kept very busy with school activities and are huge Rockies fans.

Brandi

After graduating from the CU Hygiene School in 1996 with her Bachelors in dental hygiene, Brandi was thrilled to find a position with Dr. James. Since then she has greatly enjoyed working with Dr. James and helping her build her practice.
Brandi has been married since October 1996, and has a son, Braxton, and a daughter, Bailey. She enjoys spending time with her family, reading and shopping.

Bonnie

Bonnie has been a dedicated and dental assistant for 26 years. Her experience in those years consists of assisting and oral surgeon, pediatric dentists and general dentists. She has been accepted to assist in the operating rooms at MedCenter One in Bismark, N.D., Children's Hospital in Denver, and Lakewood Surgical.

Bonnie graduated from NDSSS (North Dakota State School of Science) with a certificate in dental assisting in 1982. She is also radiology, nitrous oxide and expanded duty dental assistant (EDDA) certified.

She and her husband, Tim were married 1976 and have a wonderful son, Michael. Tim was in the Navy, so they were able to enjoy and experience some of our beautiful country, including the wonderful Key West, Florida.

Bonnie likes to garden vegetables and flowers, but does not mind shoveling snow now and then either. She also loves to fish, a nibble on the hook is a trill and reeling them in is a lot of fun!

Laura

Laura brings 30 years of dental assisting and front office experience to our practice. She is a Colorado native who grew up right here in Thornton, and her favorite time of year is the fall (can you blame her?). She has two children, Jason who is 30 and Ryan who is 28. Ryan has brought Laura the greatest joy by giving her her first grandchild, Carter James, who was born on June 30th.

Laura enjoys going to the gym and working out with friends because it gives her more time to "hang out." She also loves to bike ride, watch her niece and nephew play soccer, and just spending time outside!

Andrea

Andrea has been working in a dental office setting since 2002, and has been with Dr. James since the fall of 2006.
She moved to Colorado from Minnesota with her two kitties in 2005, and has thoroughly enjoyed the change in winter weather. She loves hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, and playing roller hockey with her fiance, Andy, as well as reading and yoga. She also enjoys running and completed her first marathon in June 2008.

Andrea is currently a student working on her undergraduate in exercise physiology. She hopes to further her education after her bachelors and become a physical therapist.
Andrea has been engaged to Andy since March 2008 and their wedding is set for September 2009.
