Your first appointment
Your first appointment will include a full set of dental X-rays (*unless received from your previous dentist), a full initial comprehensive oral examination and consultation and full mouth periodontal charting, which is a measurement taken of the gum tissue around each tooth to determine the health of your gum tissue. A dental cleaning and any other treatment needed will be scheduled following your initial appointment.
- *You may request current X-rays from your previous dentist and either have the X-rays sent directly to us, or you may pick them up and bring them with you to your first appointment. To obtain current X-rays, please contact your previous dentist. A current full set of X-rays is required for your initial examination and consultation.
